Construction Rushmore, MN – Gazebo

This is a hexagon shaped gazebo that I was hired to build. The homeowners wanted to get outside at night to enjoy time away from the TV and the phone but didn’t want to deal with the bugs and mosquitos. I designed this gazebo myself and with their liking of it, started the building process.

The homeowners really enjoy this gazebo about 9 months out of the year. They are in it almost nightly and love to entertain in it.

The size is 16 foot across.  It has windows on all sides of the gazebo to provide lots of natural lighting.  Even in the hottest weather (which happens in Sioux Falls, SD and Rushmore, MN) with all the windows opened and the ceiling fan on it stays quite cool from the cross breeze.   It has vinyl windows and vinyl siding on the exterior so it is low maintenance. The walls on the inside are tongue and groove pine. It has exposed roof members as you will see in the gallery section.  I have additional pictures of the gazebo there.  If anyone would like to see this gazebo in person, they would gladly have you come see it.  You can see additional pictures in the gallery portion of this website.
